Title: Electronics service tech needed in London, Ontario, Canada ASAP
Post by: HardCoreElectronics on May 16, 2018, 02:09:39 am
I have a position open for a part time electronics repair technician.  This will likely turn full time quickly.

Experienced Electronics repair service technician wanted. We are not hiring trainees.
The position is part time, 25 hours a week to start with opening wage greater than $20/hr.

My Electronic repair shop is overwhelmed with repair requests and I need help getting caught up and sustaining the ever increasing intakes.  Your focus is primarily repairing audio electronics.  Experience is required for troubleshooting and repairing electronic audio gear like stereo receivers, AVR's, amplifiers, turn tables, occasional tape decks and reel-to-reel machines.  Yes we get a lot of vintage audio gear in here.  You will also get many newer model audio electronics as well.

We mostly get music and PA amplifiers of all sorts, electronic keyboards and pedals from members of the music communities. Your skill has to be familiar with audio amplification circuitry and power supplies that power them. Most gear is solid state and we do get tube amps that come in on a weekly basis.

Other items like industrial control boards, appliance boards and other related electronics do come in and having a good working electronics servicing background and understanding will be challenged on some of these type of repairs.

Use of computer to record ticket work, source and view service manuals and parts look-up is necessary.
