Power supply opensource/advantage intern project
« on: April 06, 2017, 12:16:43 pm »
I am looking for someone with enough experience (production worthy or very close to) to collaborate in a opensource project.
It's about a step-up boost converter (maybe isolated) with some difficult catches (will tell more details in a private message/e-mail).
Power is around 15-25W, some high voltage are involved on the secondary (boosted) side.

I do have plenty (years) of experience with Class-D power amplifiers and similar, but this is just something a need a little help with.
Also because at the moment I don't have any test equipment unfortunately.

I have worked with (many) interns in the past, so maybe this would also be a nice school/university project to.

Please send me a private message if interested for more details.

I can likely design this for you, but... your mention of looking for interns and this being open source strongly implies there is zero budget, which may or not may not be okay depending on the target market and application.
