Can you please elaborate a bit?

What exactly you are trying to do? create a footprint? not able to browse them?

are you able to find your libraries in the footprint library table in Pcbnew Menu > Preferences > Manage Footprint Libraries

The library wizard has been removed, since you can add libraries by other methods. Use "Browse libraries" to add libraries.

1. Download the library/repo to your local disk. Unzip if necessary.
2. Go into "Preferences->Manage Footprint Libraries". Add any new libraries and delete any old ones.

I think you can add a github library by using "Append library" and then type values in the boxes, and it will work the same way as in v4. However, it will not download a local copy for use offline.

The Digikey does not have the right format to be used as a kiCad github source, you will need to download a local copy and then install the library.
