Anyone recently run across any Chinese fabs able to use LPI or DLP for the silkscreen?

It turns out that Elecrow's "Premium PCB" service uses DLP. I had PCBs done using this service, but although the printing was sharp it wasn't very opaque. From what images I can find online it looks like DLP might not lay on as thick a coat of ink as silkscreening so that might be perfectly normal for DLP -- but I don't know.

Why is there such a desire for high quality Silk Screens.  I've never seen the need.
