Just got a T962C reflow oven
« on: November 29, 2018, 09:16:54 am »
Yesterday it did arrive. Its big with 6 lamps covering side to side, and two temp sensors hanging inside there. From what I've read this is not like the T962 where some areas turn unsoldered.
Comes with 8 profiles and gives hints as to which is better for what solder. Just tried one program and it did follow the profile quite well.

Haven't tested it with boards yet, but did two important mods: changed a small 12V fan in the control panel, high pitched noise was horrible, and added a 100ohm resistor to the new one, these small ones spin too quick. Also added some tape to the hole of the buzzer inside, again too loud.
