SMT-660 is similar machine I think build by Wenzhou Zhengbang Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd!

I don't know if I trust chinese machines for production grade.

Not clear how vision is working - you can see the occasional green flash, and there seems to be a mirrror strip in front of the feeders

Mike's Electric Stuff: High voltage, vintage electronics etc.
Day Job: Mostly LEDs

Looking more closely, it does seem like it's using a down-facing camera ( per nozzle presumably), with flash illuminator and mirror - a rather elegant way to do flying vision without the complication of flipping a mirror under the nozzle.

Some of the bigger multi-nozzle machines use a mirror and multiple cameras too, as did Dima on their MP machine. Laser alignment (Juki) also tends to be on the head and machines with turret/rotary heads do to. That usually means they are forced to use a fixed camera for parts that are tall or wide or fine pitch, IIRC I have seen some (in video form only) where an upward looking camera rides on the gantry which in turn runs on rails below the PCB, that means its always straight in front of the feeder being picked from.

It has flying vision system using fixed mirrors.

Is it limited to really small part heights like the other Neoden machines?

I dont trust it for production runs.  May work for 1 week before issues start to develop.   I am just surprised its taking 30 years for china to make chinese copies of japanese machines.

Our VP-2800HP-CL64 does the same job at better precision!
We addd the 3 zone conveyor system soon.

- no flying vison
- 4 heads system only

+ ball screw spindle system using ac servos and encoder for absolute position.

I am sorry can't find information about max part height.

Working area is 630x300mm
Placement range from 0402 to 40x40mm
Pin Pitch >= 0.4mm
X/Y axis resolution 0.01mm
Placement rate 14000cph / 8500cph

As per their website, the Neoden7 can place 10mm high parts. http://www.neoden.net/products_details.html?pid=1673887&_t=1542964351 I just hope the software is not as crappy as the Neoden4's software.

I wonder if 10mm is with or without route planning, I.e. is it really 20mm clearance?
Also interesting that they're only claiming 0402 - seems odd that a new  machine  wouldn't support 0201, though this may be a limitation of their sketchy feeders

It depends on belt drive limitation!
They use common CL feeder.

Hello commuty,
Last week I wrote neoden to her new machine
because of the software, which is catastrophic already at neoden4!
Joyce from neoden told me that the software has not changed.
Since I already had some problems, I will not do the project neoden7
continue to pursue.
Too bad the neoden offers no data converter as other manufacturers have been doing for a long time,
only then does it make sense to sell the machine to ems provider as we are.
Let's see what the other manufacturers offer |O |O |O

Hi Everybody,
Thank you for your attention and support on NeoDen Tech's products.

1.The NeoDen7 can handle 10mm height components directly without any custom work, you should do route planning work if the component over 10mm height,
   Neoden7 z-axis max moving limit is 20mm.
2.NeoDen7 was using flying vision with fixed mirrors, which can support take photos after picking up components on the feeder immediately.
In this method, can help reduce the route distance and ensure fast CPH.

Any more questions, feel free contact to us via email, tks.

Best Regards,
Tonny-Neoden
