PCBway the worst service and manufacturer ever use

So I had a 3 orders with PCBWay, and ALWAYS I had a problem. But on a last order somthing terrible appen. I pay for a fast delivery:  I payed 55 DOLLARS! After 1 month of waiting I contacted PCBway, and after 7-8 day they answer me. They was unbelivable. The package result lost. Ok so, I ask pcbway to give a refund, because they provide a terrible shipping service and also I discovered that the shipping address on the package was also WRONG!. Right now I spent 200 dollars and no one is giving me back this money or at least the PCB!

1) Communication is very poor
2) All the previous PCB has some problem: solder mask alignemt, missing silk screen, the PCB melt in the oven. But this low cost shitting service is normal



Anyway, I've placed the order with ELECROW for now, I spent againg 150 dollars. But the service is amazing.

First post a complaint ? Are you from Elcrow ?
1) Wy order again if you had already problems ? I would've stoped after the first...
2) They can't do shit about what the shipping company does

Could you tell me the whole story about it? you said "The package result lost",did you choose HongKong post or EMS?It will take some time to arrive at your city and you need to go to local post office.And you said "address on the package was also WRONG",I think it will not happen,because we shipped by the address you filled in your pcbway account,I will contact with the Courier company what is wrong.

Sorry to hear it. Next time, maybe you can try to pay by paypal, then you can ask refund no matter your supplier accepts if there is any problem caused by them.

I used PCBWay multiple times now, overall I'm happy. They had some hiccups with the express service a few weeks ago, but the problems are resolved as far as I know.

Please note that a big part of the delivery time is the time the package stays with the courier. I have a PCBWay order on the way right now that is late, but thats due to DHL Express. Their German / Europe customs center is overwhelmed with packages right now, so you have delays of several days on express shipments.

This sucks, but it is DHLs fault.

The address on the parcel should not matter much as soon as you provide your courier with your EORI number. You can reroute packages as you want once you're known to your courier.

Dunno if you are from Elecrow, but both services mentioned offer shite quality. Elecrow being the worst out of 2.

This thread should be deleted, the original poster did a drive-by slagging off of PCBWay, this could well be bogus.

Subsequently there was a suggestion that people that complain about PCBWay are Elecrow employees, that is also probably unfounded.

IMHO I don't think it does anyone any favors to have threads like this.

I would say show, don't tell, I have seen boards with drastically different copper densities warp under reflow, but never actually melt, however if you pack enough heat in, the prepreg will begin to flow, but that is at much higher temperatures than reflow.

My experience with PCBway was pretty good, few annoying things, but no more annoying that any others.  The fixed up their mistakes.
Ive moved to allpcb mstly becuase they deliver a similar product, but its quicker and cheaper...

Then look on them through microscope. And also look on some decent board for comparison.

If you need a microscope to find some faulth, then you are really trying to put them into bad light. I mean, if you can only see the error under a microscope, then it will be no problem.

Over decades I have designed and assembled hundreds of board designs. Many with 0402's. I use a stereo zoom microscope to assemble (most) of them.  These look great even if you want them to look bad.

If you only do through hole, them maybe. When it comes to SMT, those issues actually are affecting soldering/reliability. Repaired broken traces, shorts cut with a knife and dirt under the solder mask, specks of copper where they are not meant to be are not welcome as well. Bad solder mask alignment, bad copper layer aliment, FR4 delaminating around non plated holes are common issues as well. I also recall something like rat bites on the edges of solder resist.

I've done 61 orders with them since 2016, over $10K total,  2 & 4 layer mostly, mixed SMT & thru-hole. Very happy with the results. Always DHL shipping to Canada.
