JanMan,
Thank you for your feedback.
The story with the payment sounds at least scary, I can imagine what kind of "mixed feelings" you had for about 3 weeks.

I must admit that I will never accept to send any amount of money to a personal account like that. I can imagine how funny will be to do Customs clearance with such a proof of payment, bogus invoice and all the related fancy stuff.
Best way to end up with your company on the EU Customs blacklist and loose the fast-track Customs process for at least the next 5 years. They have become very creative these days, you can end up also with other various "nice" things, from money laundring to terrorism funding investigations. It sounds like a joke? It isn't. I know somebody now in deep s.ht for a 2K EUR import from China.

Working video:
https://youtu.be/fEObjAXkt60
Seems to be an issue in your software : at 0:40 it picks up a new nozzle and then moves at low speed to the pick location. Why move slowly when not carrying a part? In fact it seems to move faster after it subsequently picks the part.

Also seems to take quite a long time to do vision - it shouldn't need to stop for any longer than the time needed to capture a single image - processing and measurement can be done while it's on the way to the place location.
Quite a few machines I've seen seem to do an iterative vision process, not moving off until it has re-visioned the part after correction, which is rather inefficient.

Mike's Electric Stuff: High voltage, vintage electronics etc.
Day Job: Mostly LEDs

I was wondering the same thing, also why the second head which is not fitted or needs to be used moves along with the first head ?
It looks very slow, what is the price indication of this machine, could be interesting for beginners.

The machine in the video is working on less than 50% of speed and single head mode is enabled.
If you start using pnp machine you don't need fast speed or complicated things to receive problems first.#
Frustration level is very high if you don't know which parameters to change to receive a good result.
So it's better to start slow and use less complicated working modes.

The price is 7950usd and it's proffesinal working machine having strong mechanics, linear guide lines, stepping servos.

Mike,

you are able adjust the speed of any movement phase if you like faster speed you are able to define.

We have user define speeds can be assigned to each feeder different.

The pick up speed and vision alignment speed are globally adjustable speed settings.

Ok I thought it was a commercial for your finished machine since you are going to sell it on the fare.

Mike it's only a speed setting to move machine fast to pick up position.
If customer increase speed for this setting you will receive your result.

You may want to optimise settings before shooting a demoq video...!
The reason I mentioned it is that on at least one of the Chinese machines, setting a slow speed for a part also makes it slow before picking. There may sometimes be reasons to move slowly all the time, but the default should be fastest when not carrying a part.

How soon? I basically was holding back of buying another PNP for quiet some time only because it was coming "soon".

You can use it for glue or paste dispensing.

Do you plan to put out an auger dispensing pump for solder paste?
Any idea what the minimum dispensed volume might be?
Any other ideas on how to dispense solder paste without causing the paste to separate into solids and liquids during the dispensing process?

We don't plan to use an auger dispensing pump because too heavy for our head construction.
The paste dispensing related problems i can't cover, we only offer the platform to adopt the syringe and do the position and timing control.
You can use any dispensing system from the market, we prefer Musashi systems.
Our machines are primary PNP machines not paste dispensing systems!
