Einstein's theory of special relativity says that time slows down or speeds up depending on how fast you move relative to something else.

Approaching the speed of light, a person inside a spaceship would age much slower than his twin at home. Also, under Einstein's theory of general relativity, gravity can bend time.

I think you have to look into black holes to find the answer ....

That video is a good example of pseudo-science.

No it isn't. Pseudo-science is treating something as a science without the experimental or observational evidence or a theoretical framework. Saying that there are problems with Relativity, such as dividing by zero to get to an infinite mass or the fact that Schwarzchild black holes are special cases of a single body universe, is not positing an alternative. Crothers is calling Relativity "pseudo-science" so how can his talk be an example of pseudo-science. If you wanted to actually address any of the points he raises, I'm sure everyone would be all ears.

The title itself is a good hint for why that video is not about real science: the words "destroying" and "quackademic" tell enough.

Real science is about showing how something works, not about attacking and ridiculing other persons or theories.

Nit picking over the definition of pseudo science aside, that guy's talking crap.

Please don't degenerate my thread into some new age, pseudo, woo woo bullshit

maybe you would listen to Ron Hatch:-
(who probably wrote the proverbial book on atomic clocks / gps)

https://www.gps.gov/governance/advisory/members/hatch/
that is Official U.S. government information about the Global Positioning System (GPS) and related topics
