Another rusty burnt gear repair project.

Very kind friend helped me to part with some $$ for another volt-nut toy. The smoke definitely escaped on this one.  :-BROKE
Who know what this piece is?



Will I get it fixed?  >:D

Very likely C669 (the burnt part) is identical to C668 which seems intact.
Its either a MOV or an XY capacitor. Likely the later, because the "C" designator.

Close up photos of both sides of C668 could provide clues.

Looks Keithleyish, not sure about the exact model, though  ???

Maybe K2182, there are new pics on xDevs.com and you once noted you'd have/get something better than K182?
