DIY resistance standard banana plugs
« on: November 08, 2017, 12:32:20 am »
I'm putting together the parts for a build of Dave's resistance standard and had a quick question. It looks like Dave used some Pomona style binding posts for his, are these the 3770 model or a knock off? I bought some binding posts off of ebay for this only to realize the resistance of the binding posts will contribute to the overall reading. I assume higher quality binding posts are called for here?

Thanks for the help!

I've used the Pomona ones. And you should use four plugs instead of two for resistance below 100k.
