First Light: IET HSVR + KVD = 05.000000V @ 18.5 Degrees C
« on: April 22, 2018, 02:19:36 am »
With a temp. rating 0-50 C, 1ppm/C

22V input from regulated bench supply to an IET High Stability Voltage Reference module, or HSVR-6.3, specified at 6.2998V (ref. NIST). At first power-on it read 6.299995V then started settling down.

1.000000V and 5.000000V via a 10k Ohm Kelvin Varley Divider.

Measurements made with factory calibrated Keysight 34770A, auto-caled @ 18.5 C (stable) and set to 1G input.

HSVR has been sitting in its original packing and box for over a decade, never powered up until today.

Referring to the regulator?
No teardown but I did x-Ray it, not what I expected inside.

I watched this one on ebay as well.
Yes, it would be nice to see some xray pictures

Here is the datasheet from the IET website.

Hi Zia. No schematic, we'll be lucky to get them to tell about which technology is in there.
Yes I have all the other information and will be happy to share it with you privately but not for publication online.
Along with the normal documents came a certificate good for 15% off the first recalibration at IET.

With luck, next weekend we will have an AD2702SD to try. Both these devices squeeze good performance out of a non-oven protected reference and I wanted to investigate that type technology first.
