  • Watts in an ohm?
The application note I have uploaded ,(in parts, sorry, due to this forum limitations), maybe of interest to the hard core 'nuts' who may not have seen it yet!.
Forgot which pile of papers I was searching through when it surfaced and couldn't find much reference on the web, (simple lazy search :P), so .......Just for document preservation and your casual entertainment of course .....here it is.
The odd multimeter or 2 or 3 or 4...or........can't remember !.

This procedure was contained initially in the NIST Technical Note 1263: 'Guidelines for Implementing the New Representations of the Volt and Ohm Effective January 1, 1990'.

The document is about 8MB, so I can't upload it here, and it's not found by searching the NIST any more.

Anyhow, maybe there will also be a similar procedure for the New Volt and Ohm 2019, as the difference between the current and future (final) representation can just be detected by the most sophisticated / maintained secondary standards.

My FTP does not have any silly size limits :)
YouTube | Metrology IRC Chat room | Let's share T&M documentation? Upload! No upload limits for firmwares, photos, files.

Hey, some of my stuff is so old that the 1948 correction is of more interest-
