What is amazing, that new current methods seem to be working at ambient temperatures, according to PDF and PDF.

That may mean that in some distant future we can have "DC current reference" from Fluke Calibration.  :box:

Adding it to my eBay followed searches now. Maybe in about 20years something will be available.

It is not just a possible current reference, but also the option to combine with quantum hall effect to make it a voltage reference. Still it is something for low currents, like maybe 0.1 - 1 nA.
