Guildline 9975 resistance bridge
« on: March 14, 2018, 05:05:59 pm »
I have a Guildline 9975 resistance bridge that I'd like to resurrect. Does anyone know where I can find an operator or service manual? I did a search of this forum and found a link to a teardown at http://bbs.38hot.net/thread-4488-1-1.html, but it's in Chinese. Nice pics, though, at least I don't have to open mine up just yet.
Kirk: "Scotty, you're confined to quarters." Scotty: "Thank you, Captain! Now I have a chance to catch up on my technical journals!"

I seem to recall that Measurements International used to service these , after guildline.
If you own any North Hills Electronics gear, message me. L&N Fan

If you view the bbs.38hot site with CHROME the Google Translate function will let you read everything very well.

There are many good articles on the 38hot site.

I have one running in the lab, used mainly for 1/10 transfers. Send me a PM re. the information you need if you like.
Maybe we can also exchange operational experience later on.

Unfortunately the forum picked up the comma in your URL, which makes it 404.  Here’s the link without the comma http://bbs.38hot.net/thread-4488-1-1.html

Oops on the comma... Thanks for the tip on using Chrome with Google translator. Response from one of the posters on that site: "Never knew that there is so much knowledge of a resistor."

There were some variations in the manuals (have several at work), best to see what information you require then place a request here .
The odd multimeter or 2 or 3 or 4...or........can't remember !.

Email Guildline and request a copy of the manual.

They will happily send you a pdf copy and remind you they no longer service it. They will also provide a hardcopy in the $300 range.

The one they send is TM9975-J-00/

Lucky that I can read 38hot in Chinese, the uploader username "lymex" has many study and research on precision instruments and standards I think. But this man is not active on 38hot and eevblog forum for a while..
