Here’s my pair of non-functional Guildline 9520 Teraohmmeters.

Artek has a manual, but it appears to be missing the schematic for the display section. Shouldn’t be too hard to reverse engineer, it’s all just ancient TTL.

The background in the picture is as cool as your 9520's in the foreground. good luck salvaging all of them geriatrics . I can't help you in that regard, but well worth the effort. I recently supplied a client a replacement stir motor for a old Guildline liquid bath, that frankly can't be replaced in their mind. Pretty sure it was 1977 vintage. Could Guildline and did Guildline provide a replacement motor...YES...Was it in stock, NO....did it take ages and ages to arrive...YES......was it free or low cost....NO....but did it allow a highly trusted, with masses of historical calibration data remain within context...YES.

Dave started this thread, again....just informing. I mean who in this forum is the market for a Guildline Resistance Bridge (and I mean a brand new one) ...somebody Surprise me.

And here's the weird link between Dave and Guildline despite them both being involved in some pretty salty gear, I'd say Dave was closer to a piece of Guildline equipment while out at sea conducting sea mapping surveys and upsetting dolphins than he may have realized. I like that word

Had never seen them actually. We didn't need any "standard seawater" AFAIK for our in-house 10m deep test tank. Not sure how that was calibrated actually, that was mainly used by the military guys. Seismic was a bit more loosy-goosy, we'd just chuck it in the actual ocean.

The Australian Bruce V Hamon, of 100:1 build-up resistor fame, moved from working on resistance to another department at CSIRO shortly after publishing that article.  There, he focused on analyzing tides and currents and temperatures and that sort of thing, driving around in boats and throwing instruments in the water.

Perhaps I'm stretching too much to see parallels with Dave.
