Title: Trimble NTPX26AB to Stabilock 4040
Post by: bin10 on October 06, 2017, 08:29:45 am
Good morning,
Sorry my English .. (Google Translator)
Please, information.
How do I connect the GPS Trimble NTPX26AB BNC 10Mhz standard frequency output (> 2 V-pp to 50Ohms) with Test Set Stabilock 4040 external reference frequency input (> 0.2V to 200 Ohms).
I look for information with the Internet, but I did not find it.
Thank you.
Best regards
Claudio

With an impedance matching pad if you want to be sure of an impedance match but in practice, I think it will probably just work if you plug it in with a BNC-BNC patch cable.

Hi CJay,
Thank you,
That's how I think.
Is this impedance matching available for purchase or should I build?
can I have more information on how to build it?
Thank you.

You can buy one from Minicircuits etc. they have them for standard impedances but you may need to build one for 200R input, there are calculators on the web which will work out resistor values, use the closest standard value to the calculation results.

It should be easy to build one for 10MHz
