[bitcloud] - Router device joins the network, then leaves
« on: June 19, 2017, 12:01:24 pm »
Hi,

I have a coordinator and 7 routers all connected on the same network.
I have 4 more router devices to connect.
I am able to connect them, but after few seconds, they leave the network (not sure yet if they leave on their own or if they are kicked out).

To make a test, I reset everything (coordinator and routers to factory defaults).
I associated routers to the network again, this time by trying to make the one that left the network to join first.
They joined without any issue.

Eventually, I ended up with 1 coordinator and 7 routers connected.
When I tried to connect my 8th router device to the network, I saw it join, then leave the network.

It seems there is some sort of configuration that prevents me from adding more than 7 routers to my network.

Any idea why?

What parameters should I tweak to fix the issue?

I wish to be able to add up to 19 routers to my network.

Could it be an APS_REMOVE_DEVICE command?

If so, what could be the cause of it?

Why would the Trust Center send such a command?

What is your security type and configuration? Most likely those devices fail to get a network key. It would be helpful to see sniffer logs.

And do they actually join, as in start network callback is called with a successful status?

I finally traced down the issue to the CS_APS_KEY_PAIR_DESCRIPTORS_AMOUNT define that was not big enough.
