Any good Freescale HC08/RS08 programmer?

I'm pulling my hairs out because the PE Micro USB BDM Multilink programmer I got doesn't seem to work reliably from a virtual machine and Windows 7 doesn't seem to be supported as well. Are there any alternatives out there which just work (Linux or Windows) and are easy to buy?
