The Windows app that has no counterpart on Linux: Photoshop. (And, no, the Gimp doesn't count--that's like comparing a broken down Yugo to a Ferrari).
Complexity is the number-one enemy of high-quality code.

The Windows app that has no counterpart on Linux

in my case
  • OrCad
  • Protel
  • Altium
  • Tina
  • NI design
  • DSP++Studio
  • ucVision
  • CodeWarrior

Also I prefer to use Understand (by Scitools) on Windows, even if I need to "import" project's files from CoLinux

This would have been an April 1 story a few years back.
