Atmel ICE/JTAG capabilities

Hi, newb  to this ARM stuff. It would be  neat for data to appear in a terminal window.

Does the Atmel ICE Jtag support  "printf" ?
The IDE is Studio 7, The device family is the SamX7xxxx.

Not sure about JTAG, but with SWD you should be able to do debug prints via SWO in Percepio Trace.
