AVRDUDE cygwin compilation
« on: March 20, 2011, 12:14:46 am »
Hello!

I'm not sure if this is the right place for that topic but seems close enough. I'm currently making a very simple universal programmer for ARM, MSP430 and AVR which is basically FT232 with some additional stuff like 2 transistors. It is a simple USB solution for people without LPT port for my UniProg v1.0 (LPT based JTAG ARM + JTAG MSP + AVR STK200) and is dedicated to my dev-board called Akai Kaba (red hippo in Japanese) www.livelights.pl/akaikaba which is now being used by 100+ students.

Any way, my problem is about compiling AVRDUDE 5.10 with FT232 bitbang patch under Cygwin. Linux is not my strongest topic and also rarely I do something "manually" with GCC. I've got some older version which is working almost fine but I'd like to use new one and also add some simple esthetic's to the program to make it similar to the other soft (for  MSP430 and ARM). Do you know any clear description of that compilation process ? THX in advance.
