bitcloud 3.3 compile error
« on: May 16, 2016, 08:21:30 am »
Hi friends
I downloaded BitCloud3.3 and atmel studio7.0 from the Atmel.com to finish my project, and some problems has puzzled me several days. I want to know if someone meet the same problem and solved.
1. The HADevcie application(without any change) can not build. i always get about 156 errors. Also i test other clusters, Other applications like ZLL, WSN,... downloaded from the Atmel.com have the same behavior, and the example projects download with Atmel Studio 7 are complied ok.
i tried to chagne the path of SDK, removing any space on path, decreasing the path length and so but nothing changed.

could you please help me to start by bitcloud ?

hi
yes i attached it.
when i remove the check box of "use external make file" the errors decrease to 10, but when it checked the errors increase to 156.

Please post full build output log as a text file, not screenshot.

You have to use external Makefile.

Dear Friends
i decide to reinstall the windows.i refreshed the windows.

1) i don't know where i must install the Atmel Studio?

is the C:\Program Files (x86)\Atmel\Studio\ ok?
or i must install it on C:\Atmel  ??

2) in the bitcloud 3.3 i read that the recommended SDK is Atmel Studio 6.2, the question is that is there any trouble with Atmel Studio 7?
i must install which one? 7.0 or 6.2

Default location (Program Files) will be fine.

I would use AS 6.2 for BitCloud.

AS7 and AS 6.2 coexist without any problems, so you can install both.

Dear Friends
i finally find the way to solve the trouble.
the bitcloud 3.3 must be compiled with AS 6.2, i have not any error with it.
when i build the solution with AS 7.0 i get about 165 errors.
thanks for your support

It is possible that something got broken with studio updates. I have Atmel Studio 7 (Version: 7.0.634) and sample project compile just fine.

It looks like in your case it decided that all object files are already build and all is left to do is linking. I have no idea why this may happen.
