Bluetooth with HC-06
« on: February 17, 2015, 09:45:53 am »
Hi,

I bought a HC-06 Bluetoothmodul with adapter-board for aduino. I want to use the bluetooth with a MSP430.
At first I want to change the name and password of the Bluetoothmodul. I was able to connect via AT (Putty) to the HC-06. I changed the name of the modul, but now I can't connect anymore with the modul. At first I used the Lauchpad to create a serial connection, but I thought this is the problem, so I got me a uart usb adapter. But this doesn't work as well.
I tried to reset the modul, but the name didn't change, maybe the baud rate? So this is the problem why I can't connect anymore?
I can connect with my mobile to the bluetoothmodul, and when connected the red led changes from flashing to glowing. When I connect the MSP430 to the HC-06 and send commands nothing happens.
Can anyone help me out? I'm desperate....  :scared:

  • Try flipping the RX and TX wires around
  • Try every common baud rate under the sun
The Arduino serial monitor has most listed.
