I'm working with some car electronics as a hobbyist trying to learns something. Now I have here a Bosch M1.5.5 ECU from an Alfa Romeo. I tried to reflash it using standard automotive tools, but since I'm an idiot I happened to brick the ECU by uploading the wrong file to the flash memory.
This unit has a C509L microcontroller so my idea is that it can be revived by uploading the original software to the flash using the "External Flash-EPROM Program Enable" on pin PRGEN and the flash tool for the 509. Now this is a hybrid design so the microcontroller is a bare die and I can't find any datasheet that describes the pads.
Can anyone here help me with info about the pads on a bare die C509L ?
