Connecting USB2UART converter to BF531 DSP

Hi friends,

I  have connected a USB2UART converter to a BF531 DSP in the
hope to sniff the output during boot time.
But have no success to do this till now.

Question is If I need pullups and if 10k are sufficcient.

Had tried many baud rates, but was not able establish a connection.
