RAWR, FPGA lovers.

Anyone have a original kit CD image for board in topic? I got board while ago without any software, and would like to try some stuff on it, but my google-fu is not working right today...
If you have image, please drop on ftp.

And following tradition of oversizing my posts with slow-loading bulky photo, here's board overview for some ALTERA love...

Board Components
? Two 12-bit 125-MHz A/D converters
? Two 14-bit 165-MHz D/A converters
? One 8-bit, 180 megapixels-per-second triple D/A converter for VGA output
? One 96-KHz Stereo Audio coder/decoder (CODEC)

? Memory subsystem
? 1 MByte of 10-ns asynchronous SRAM configured as a 32-bit bus
? 16 MBytes of flash memory configured as an 8-bit bus
? 32 MBytes of SDRAM memory configured as a 64-bit bus
? CompactFlash connector supporting ATA and IDE access modes

? Configuration options
? On-board configuration using 16 MBytes of flash memory and an Altera® EPM7256 MAX® device
? Download configuration data using an USB BlasterTM download cable

? Single-ended or differential inputs and outputs accessed via a Mictor connector
? Dual seven-segment display
? Four user-defined push-button switches
? One female 9-pin RS-232 connector
? 10/100 Ethernet MAC/PHY
? Eight user-defined LEDs
? Socketed 100-MHz oscillator
? Single 16-V DC power supply (adapter included)
? Active heat sink

That is some nice equipment porn ;) I wish I can be given one (or buy one cheap) of those to experiment with... Now all I have is a MAX II CPLD coupled to either Raspberry Pi or Arduino Due...

If you would like to donate I would appreciate. I am still a newbie on this front and for now all I have is a few MAX II CPLD eval boards I built myself

I bought the eval board unassembled, source all the parts according to its BOM (basically cheapest source available from Shenzhen) and build it myself - all SMD soldering with 0603 size (leftover from my previous project, which was all 0603) parts despite the board designed with 0805.

Hello,
i bought this Board on eBay last year for around 100€. Everything works as far as i can test. But i have a problem:
I can only program the FPGA via JTAG but not the Flash AM29LV128, it is connected to the MAX CPLD. So ... in the maual is something written:
Quote
$ nios2-flash-programmer --base=0x01000000
--input=<project_name>.flash
--sof=altera_dsp_dev_board_stratix_2s180.sof
--device=1
I can generator the .flash file from my bitstream but i can't find the altera_dsp_dev_board_stratix_2s180.sof and i am not sure if there is a NIOSII running, in my design programmed via JTAG into the FPGA it is not. maybe in the factory configuration but i don't know.
With older Quartus versions there was another (older) way to program the Flash, write2flash.exe but in the Quartus 11 i can't find it.
I am using a Quartus 11 i got somewhere on the Internet so the board-specific files are all missing ...
Could you please tell me how to program the Flash via the Altera MAX CPLD or the NIOSII-flash-programmer? Or could you please upload the CD .zip again, or the write2flash.exe? Thank you very much!

Greetings from the bavarian part of Germany.

Hello,

I just acquired the Stratix II EP2S180 DSP Dev Board but there is no kit CD ROM.

I searched but could not find anywhere on the Internet.

I just wonder if anyone still has the CD or file StratixII_DSP-v1.1.0_CD.zip

Thank you
