Driving LED matrix displays with an FPGA
« on: May 04, 2014, 10:20:51 pm »
Using a Lattice XO2 FPGA to directly drive a LED matrix, and also driving colour video-wall LED tiles.
Youtube channel:Taking wierd stuff apart. Very apart.

Really interesting. Which lattice dev board are you using, got a link? Also would you put up the code you were going through as it seems like it would be a very useful starting point to play with.

Thanks

Nice! Could you paste the FPGA coe, just for reference.

Do you use Lattice official tools?

Will at some point, want to tidy up, test with multiple panels  and add a standalone test pattern mode first

Hi Mike. Love your channel. I'm new to FPGAs and VHDL and have been using a LED matrix project as my learning project and would really love to review your code to learn from. Thanks in advance and keep it up.

Any update on the code publishing?

Maybe one of us can learn from it or help you tidy it up.
