Has anybody worked with PIC32MK and USB yet?
« on: September 11, 2017, 09:32:07 am »
Kind of a long shot, since the family is so new..
I need to use one of the USB ports in this MCU as a virtual com port. Currently there are no example projects for this MCU (XC32 V1.44, Harmony V2.03b), the cdc class examples have multiple configuration options but none for this MCU.

So, i took the most simillar one (PIC32MZ EF) and tried to replicate it, but no luck yet. board isn't recognized, no activity on the data lines, driver state machine doesn't get past initialization.
I admit i have no clue on what's going on, the documentation didn't help me much..
At the moment i am using the PIC32MK GP development board

Nevermind. Turns out i had an outdated version of harmony.
Harmony 2.04 came out during vacations and it adds full support to my board and processor.
There even is a dedicated CDC project thta uses both the USBs
