How to know what silicon version the suppliers like mouser sell?
« on: December 19, 2017, 02:27:48 pm »
Hi,
I have ordered some MIMXRT1052DVL6A from mouser, before they reach into my hands, how can I know the chip silicon Rev, since the Rev 0.0, errata have some issues specially with the DC/DC converter and they can only be fixed in Rev 1 silicon. should I cross my fingers to get Rev 1.0 chips? |O

you may ask them, at the very least they should be able to provide you a datecode.

reading the ERRATA document, they should be able to tell you by looking at the actual product code (first page on the errata document)

Maybe ask the customer support? But frankly, unless you're representing a big company, I doubt you will be able to get an answer, even less give requirements on silicon revisions to the distributor.

Anyway, you can always try. "CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICE" links are available at the bottom of Mouser's home page. Let us know if you can get any kind of answer!

I think they are Rev 0, since the Silicon Rev is in the part number already it's in the Errata sheet and datasheet, The question for now Does anyone here get their hands dirty on these babies? Does the silicon bugs catches you!
