I know nothing about the Arduino. so I thought ok I best find out all about it, to that end i got the following.
http://www.gearbest.com/development-boards/pp_22532.html
http://www.gearbest.com/development-boards/pp_62975.html
http://www.gearbest.com/development-boards/pp_29453.html
The above were so I had a collection of the boards.

The LCD is the problem as I have NO idea if this will fit all of the above or just the last one. Does anyone know ?.
Of course you do because your all cleverer than me

Almost certainly all of them.
The trick to getting good responses, and contributing to good search results for the site is to make good subjects.

Don't get the Duemilanove, that's only an old vertion of the Uno. The LCD should work for the Uno and the Duemilanove. The mega may or may not work with it.

There's more value if you figure it out yourself!

the row of blanks is a good start, but many LCD shields use a different CS chip select pin than the default for the MEGA.
Easy to work around, just keep it in mind.
