Interfacing Nokia 1200 with microcontrollers
« on: July 31, 2013, 02:00:52 pm »
After a frantic search for info on using the nokia 1200 via f-bus, i've decided to post on the forum for help.

AFAIK, nokia 1200 uses f-bus protocol ver 3 which is not well documented on the web. What should I do to interface it with MCU to send SMS,calls etc?

Does it really have to be that phone? You could have it much more easy if you had a phone that could be fed standard AT commands via RS-232.

Some cheap gps car trackers with cell chips can be hacked easily to accept AT commands.

Don't ask my for specific models though.
