« on: September 29, 2018, 10:55:25 am »
Hai,

I have to implement the temperature and power monitor display using PIC18F57K42 microcontroller.
I want to implement using MPLAB X IDE.
So please suggest the github file for PIC18F57K42.

Thanks...,

Is this a student project you’ve been tasked with?

What kind of temperature sensor? Internal or external? What kind of "power monitor"? How do you want to display it? Uart? LCD? 7segment? People need details to help you.

This is not student project, it is company project

So that was your detailed technical specification?

What specific facet(s) of the project are you struggling with?

What effort and progress have you made yourself so far?

My target is data acquisition. I have to monitor that  which I give the supply voltage. I am used external thermistor. In thermistor circuit, the op-amp used. Finally  display all value on same lcd display in serial communication mode.

Use Great Cow BASIC  and PICkitPlus. You will have a working solution by the time you have figured out how to get Mplab-x working.

The project is relatively simple.

Do a Google search for Great Cow BASIC.

why?

install mplab x. install xc8. Everything is already configured, up and running. No need to mess with third party basic compilers or unsupported tools.

I think you have come here on the wrong foot.

You shouldn't just ask for source code to something, I for one see this as very suspicious because it sounds like you want to put minimal effort in to your project. To me that is the wrong approach, student or not.

Instead you should come with very specific questions about very specific problems what you are having, like "I am trying to read a value from the ADC but the values don't seem right, what am I doing wrong?" And then show what you have already done and explain what you have tried. This shows you have made effort but are stuck.

People may be a little less hostile if it doesn't sound like another student or lazy employee trying to flog off someone else's code as their own, or trying to avoid, you know, actually learning something.

Datasheets for your chosen components probably contain all of the information you need to achieve everything you are trying to do. Read them, try things, and ask questions when you are stuck. If you're not even prepared to do that, you're in the wrong game as datasheets will be your life.

Okay. I got some idea that to obtain source code (github) from online. After that what i need to modify the obtained source code. This is not correct and i don't interested that. But I have not much idea.

Please suggest Toms_, I am new to this field, so when i start a new project initially what can i do? where can i strat from? How can i start the source code?
