I had looked at that around June, but when I saw it was pinned to Python 2 and Qt4 I gave it a pass. Looked like it had stalled for a year or more although in the forum it looks like there are signs of life.
I'm pretty happy with PyCharm. I was a Python beginner when I started IDE shopping, and PyCharm had a lot of built-in help that was helpful to me. I wasn't doing anything strenuous but Python was totally the right tool for the job, so I just had to do enough to make that work. I did get a new appreciation for Python though, coming from a C background the power is impressive.
