Hi all, my GQ-3x programmer hardware version is too old and doesn't support this chip and i've found that i have to return it for the firmware to be upgraded.
I'm looking to see if anyone around Sydney (near parramatta preferably) would have a PICKit or some kind of eprom programmer that would be able to see if the chip i have is able to be read or if its protected. Its for a Vending machine. I don't want to modify the firmware, i just want to be able to duplicate it to upgrade other machines with the latest version that has software fixes. Don't really want to drop money on a new reader if the chip turns out to be protected and unable to be read as the GQ-3x does everything else i need it to do right now.
Any help would be appreciated.
