Wasn't infineon bought by Intel like last year, or the year before that ?

What happened to Plessey, they had heaps of linear satellite stuff, did someone buy that division out?

Plessey Semiconductors is still in business. Heavily involved with the LED market. They also still have RF products, but marketed under Multi Market Products range.
