Someone running Labview on a Raspberry Pi?
« on: August 22, 2017, 11:06:52 pm »
Hello,

I am working on a project where I want to use an Arduino clone to collect data from different sensors and send the data to a Raspberry Pi with a 7" Touchscreen attached as graphical user interface.
A second (not so important) project is to make a graphical user interface for my Keithley 2440 (via RS232 or GPIB).

As I don't want to write a program to visualize the data myself, I was looking for a easier and faster solution. The first idea was to install Labview on the Pi. But I think that is overkill for this small computer. Now I found "Labview for Raspberry Pi" from TSXperts (www.tsxperts.com). It is a compiler which compiles the Labview Program on a Windows computer and sends it to the Raspberry Pi. The graphical user interface is then running on the Pi.

Is someone using this compiler and can tell something about its performance? Or is there another solution out there to easily create a graphical user interface on the Pi?

Many thanks,

Magnus
