SVN to Bitbucket migration?

I have an internal SVN server at work that I was looking at migrating to Bitbucket (git). I initially setup new repositories and dumped the existing code in there, but was wondering if there was an easy way to transfer the revision history as well.

Has anyone done this before?

You should look into git-svn. It should do what you are after.

yes, you can do it and there is plenty of tutorials.  here is one of those:

There are also scripts that can do it auto-magically
