STM32F3 OPAMP in the PGA mode
« on: January 16, 2019, 09:03:30 am »
I have connected the OPAMP of the STM32F303 to the ADC input internally.

The opamp has two input pins. VINM and VINP. if I decided to configure it as an amplifier and select the gain (2..16) with software. it is called PGA mode.

I want to have the non-inverting amplification. then I just should connect the input signal to the VINP and the MCU itself will configure the other pin internally? I mean should I let the VINM Pin float?

Has anybody worked with this feature?

Yes, the - pin is connected internally when you use the PGA mode. See p. 474+ of the ref. manual.
