Tiva C launchpad
« on: October 07, 2013, 01:10:17 pm »
Hello everyone.
Is there a website, where I can find projects, based on the previously mentioned launchpad ?
And what's the difference between Stellaris and Tiva C launchpads ? Can I use Stellaris-based projects on my Tiva C ?

Btw, sorry for my english :)

I don't understand most of the things written in the uC datasheet or the application notes..
Maybe because I'm absolutely new to microcontrollers  :-DD
I'm trying to learn the standart (I assume) uC language C, but it would be very great to have a completed project at hand, because then I could "reverse engineer" that project and understand what every function means.
I've done the "Project 0"- blinked the RGB LED and managed to CHANGE THE COLORS and the FREQUENCY OF BLINKING  :-DD . Beleave me, that was my first success with uC programming.

There's a somewhat active community around the Stellaris and Tiva C LaunchPads here:
http://forum.stellarisiti.com/

You might want to check out Energia, an Arduino clone for TI's LaunchPads (MSP430, Stellaris, Tiva C):

Woah, Energia seems very good from the first glance, thanks for the link :)

I'm starting to like this forum :) Looks like there are plenty of good people who are spending their time to help a newbie  :-+

In that case, be prepared for a painful experience.

I think energia or arduino would be a better choice for you.

If you install TI's "TivaWare", there are examples included for flashing the LED, UART, USB, Analog, etc...
