What is this Microcontroller?

Hi folks,
I'm currently trying to build a checker for a remote control which have the IC I attached below.
Searching for the "SBL4036" leads me nowhere.
A while back, I also have had an encounter with another of these "SBL" and it happened that it did have the REAL IC number
which was MN101C series from Panasonic.
I'm wondering could this chip be another Panasonic? could it be Renesas? Still digging through tons of online datasheets to find a match.
If you have any information, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I cannot share the full schematic due to...you know, the usual company policy etc.
but I can tell you that this IC controls PWM which is output at Pin 24 to a transistor driving the IR-LED IC.
The microcontroller gets its clock from 32.768kHz crystal (standard clock).
Pin 19 (OUTC) goes to what I think is somekind of filter (Pic also attached)

Bingo. MN15G0804. Looks like it's a 4-bit mask-ROM MCU, part of MN1500 series. Not much info available out there, here's a few:

Wow... you nailed that one!
Apparently 'discon' means nothing in this industry as long as you still have client/demand.
Then again... Pana isn't exactly 'market' brand when it comes to microcontroller
