Hi,
They have released these beasts! do you have any price info? I wonder if they could be used on what gears!? maybe we could see them in modern scopes too :D :) ;)

The question for me and most others would be when they will become available in china or taobao? so we can buy them at 1/5th of the original price ;D ;D

I have a slight suspicion these could be crazy expensive / hard to get ahold of.

heck, it wouldn't even surprise me if they came out as ITAR or some equivalent.

No offense intended, but I guess you actually mean "so we can buy them at all" because I think some of these are painted green ;)

Just given their parameters, they are going to be ITAR restricted.

I've heard some pricing around $5000 for starting models. Their whole marked seems to be for next gen wireless base stations, which can easily tolerate prices like this.

Interesting...But we all know the rules we can find anything in china! so if starting price in US is 5000$ I guess about next year we could find them about 1000-2000$ in china, where there is the land off no ITAR  bulshit! :D :D :D

They claim their main market would be wireless and radar, but I wonder what other nice creative jobs can be done with them

Get ready to sell your car for one of these. If you can get them at all, that is.

So last week I visited one of the modern Spanish frigates with that "Aegis" system. The most visible feature, four large hex shaped phased array antennas.

Guess they have several of those or similar inside! Unfortunately, of course, most of the chambers inside the ship were labelled "Level this only, special authorization" and the doors were kept closed.

The Aegis system definitely doesn't have Xilinx's implementation of an RFSoC on it.
Yeah, silly comment, it's much older!
