Cloudflare deliberate delays for DoS screening?
« on: January 30, 2015, 12:52:44 am »
Just starting today I have seen several (4-5) delay screens (blank white page with rotating "wait" icon.)
These appear to be from Cloudflare and say "checking your browser before...." something...something....
And then it said something suggesting screening for DOS (Denial of Service) attack (?)

I thought I saw one this morning from home (on my Frontier FIOS service).
But most have been from my office here behind the Intel firewall NAT which is likely making all of us using EEVblog look like the same address (or the same small range).

That is completely fine. CF for some reason "thought" request needs more checking :)

Just CloudFlare making their mostly useless presence known. Bloody annoying.
