Take the new EEVblog viewer survey & go into the giveaway (or not).
3 x BM235's and 1 x new high voltage scope probe to giveaway.
This survey is important to help determine the future direction of the blog.
Thanks.

Great idea! The survey that is, although the giveaways are cool too :-+
I just hope the combined results aren't too confusing. You seem to have have quite a wide & mixed audience.
-
If I want to enter this competition more than once do I need to change my answers for each survey entered?
:palm:
-
Will you publish any of the results from this survey?
I'm curious what percentage of viewers' favourite segment actually is mailbag :D

Yes, of course.

I hope this is not going to be exploited. I would not want the results skewed by greed. I've done my one survey and that's where I stop.

Yeah, and the banked forum IP bans will be open, normal trolls will likely screw it up. :(

Done :-+

I am getting a popup saying i have to login to my Google account to fill up the form. What is the deal with it?
-
Just Completed it, Not super easy to find unless people follow you on twitter. Perhaps it is stickied on the forum as well? Not sure if you are trying to do it by different social media sources or not.
Awesome Work Dave!

Ditto. Me no have Google account, me no want Google account, me no want to give away information and enter agreement to 70 page terms and conditions just to fill out Dave's survey.

Then too bad, a google account is a simple way to verify you are *probably* not a spambot or scammer.

Agree, not many people will see it here.

Hi Dave,
I already filled in the survey very early on (not long after you tweeted it) - it didn't require a Google login at that time. :-+
Is that entry still valid?
Or are we expected to do it again using the Google login (which I don't have by the way)? :-//

Done, I don't have a ton of videos to complain about.
-
I don't complain about videos.
If I don't like one, I will simply close the window and move on.

Thats what I do. Though if it is a short episode, I will watch it.

That's the first survey that has ever thanked me with a "You beauty!" ;D

I think Dave mentioned it's to prevent multi-votes? I'm not sure if that helps though - I for example have 2 independent google accounts and I don't think there is anything that would prevent you from making as many as you like.
-
Dang it. I was too late.
-
Oh shoots I just saw this now and looks like I was too late too. But my 2c for what it's worth, I'd like to see more fundamentals stuff, perhaps some newbie oriented and some advanced too (to please both newbies and perhaps more advanced users too). I enjoy the mailbags and teardowns. I'm not a huge fan of the expensive test gear teardowns but that's mostly just me, as I'm not quite at the advanced level to appreciate it, so not necessarily saying to stop them as I'm sure some find them really interesting.
Perhaps more tours of interesting facilities (like that TV broadcasting station, or the particle accelerator etc) would be cool too, but I imagine those are hard to pull off and probably take way more time and planing, and travel etc.
I like the idea of a secondary host. Perhaps the new host can concentrate on one set of topics while you concentrates on another set, or however way you see fit.

Are the results up?
-
Found it on you tube.

There is a discussion on it here:
Survey results. Interpretation? (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/survey-results-interpretation/)

True story: I once was denied a Western Union transfer on the phone because the agent told me they can't verify my identity on Facebook. I said :"well, that is good" and hung up. Surely, no stinking Facebook accounts in my house.
