Dave,
I know your opinion on USB oscilloscopes but I would love to see some review/teardown of some PC based USB oscilloscopes.
Quick Googling/eBay'ing/Amazon'ing around brought to my attention cheap Hantek 6022BE/6022BL USB oscilloscopes.
Hantek as far as I know is OK brand and USB oscilloscope shouldn't be as bad.
Dave, I'd guess you're not keen to spend your own money.
But maybe someone does have some contacts in Hantek?!
Right before everyone screams and shouts "USB scopes are evil" I'll say in my defence - I do have an analog oscilloscope but it takes 1/4 of my tiny workbench + I'm using it probably once a week so I can't justify spending £250+ for a new scope. USB oscilloscope in my opinion is very good alternative.
Yeah I know some people don't have PC in their lab but for some of us our lab is our "mancave" which even might have little beer fridge... Some of you will know what I'm talking about...
Thanks.
Regards,
Kris M
