Possible Malware block?
« on: May 26, 2013, 09:55:51 am »
Hi,

I'm getting this warning message every time I go to the main www.eevblog.com website. (not the forum)
Is this over-active protection of 'malwarebytes anti-malware pro' or is something going on?

That is an IP address in China, owned by China TieTong Telecommunications Corporation.

If we assume Dave doesn't have content or advertising from China embedded on www.eevblog.com, and since Malwarebytes products are usually respected, I would be careful and assume something is going on.
I delete PMs unread. If you have something to say, say it in public.

It may be just me, but I am seeing very slow loading of the EEVBlog main site whenever visited from the UK and I have a BT Infinity 40Mbs bearer that normally performs flawlessly. Running AVG and no threat report to date.

That's the one:

nslookup siglent.com
Name:       siglent.com
Address:    122.70.138.159

Keyboard error: Press F1 to continue.

Malwarebytes has been getting worse for false positives lately, to the point of destroying some systems by removing needed files. I uninstalled it.
