After logging in again the forum seems to be much faster than before, no problems here yet.

Crossing my fingers.

Hmm, so some are having problems, but others are fine?
Perhaps something needs more time to propagate through the ether.

I was getting consistent timeout errors on every post, and could only log into admin one out of about 5 times, and no admin functions would stick, server errors galore.
Was like that for about 2 days I think.
But it's now been all day without a hitch for me, so something has definitely been "fixed" for me.

Dave.

Dave, the link on the blog to the forum still contains the "www" part. If I go via that link from the blog to the forum I have to log in again. If I use http://eevblog.com/forum instead then my login is remembered.

Ah, ok.
I think I'll just change it back to www.eevblog.com, I like that better. I don't think the www part had anything to do with all the problems.

i'm getting multiple hits today of:

Database Error
Please try again. If you come back to this error screen, report the error to an administrator.

just after press the post button. but refreshing back, my post get through into the forum.

Yes, same thing for me, there are major database problems. Sitecloud.com are looking into it. Meanwhile I'm looking at ways to transfer back to my old host.

Dave.
