Videos on the blog website
« on: February 06, 2014, 09:35:56 pm »
I haven't seen as many videos posted over the last couple of weeks as I have in previous months.
Is something wrong, or are you running out of things to blog about?
I'm not complaining.  I'm just stating an observation on my part.
I enjoy the EEVBlog, and will continue watching until something causes me not to.
Regards,  JimP

First few months of the year are months where generally there's very little advertising revenue.

Most companies stop the advertising campaigns or "do their inventory" and revenue from ads on youtube drops significantly.

Not saying Dave is reducing the frequency for  this reason... it's just a guess. Maybe he's too busy with life or with his Kickstarter project (the uCurrent Gold).

That never enters into the equation, not even the slightest bit.

I understand.  I look forward to seeing more videos on all subjects when you have finished processing the uCurrent kickstarter project.

dave within this subject you'll eventually continue the Agilent E35670A repair videos also because now you have the schematics!
Looking forward to see another world exclusive of the new tek scope.

That's the plan. Plus the Tek scope.

Yep, and there is a couple of days gone right there.

And that's the thing it takes a good days works to faff around and shoot and edit a typical video, not including housekeeping or other projects or commitments and I basically work maybe 5 days days a week total. So at best I can only bring out say 4 videos a week on a good week.
Over the last almost 5 years I have averaged about 2.5 videos a week, so I'm current doing about that average.

yes I'll look forward the videos.
You've a strange fortune, when you try to repair somethingh is either a broken hybrid (the lecroy scope) or, as far as now, all the OA burn. Good fortune!
How much you take to edit a video?
