PandwaRF RF Analysis Tool
« on: June 01, 2017, 10:53:42 am »
Hi,

Just wanted to share a device you might find interesting. PandwaRF is a portable RF analysis tool with a Sub 1GHz RF transceiver, BLE & USB. You can find more information here: https://pandwarf.com/.

On the website you can also find a comparison with similar devices like RTL-SDR and Yard Stick One: https://pandwarf.com/news/yard-stick-one-vs-rtl-sdr-vs-pandwarf/, and several demos, including one showing how to disarm an alarm with PandwaRF using brute force: https://pandwarf.com/news/disarming-an-alarm-using-brute-force/.

Any feedback is more than welcome :)

While it seems very interesting, and I may not be able to resist getting one, this really isn't open source at all. Both the hardware (aside from a schematic) and firmware are closed.

I would suggest posting this in the RF, Microwave, HAM Radio section of the forum.

It is open hardware, the schematics are in the documentation page.
