Hacking laptop LVDS display with FPGA video
« on: May 13, 2016, 04:53:00 pm »
Hello,
I did some reverse engineer on laptop LVDS display. I'm a beginner in FPGA but I managed to drive this Full HD display and draw something on it.
I'm using Lattice MachXO2 which is running on the edge of the maximal chip frequency. Because of some timing constraints and my inexperience it is hard to add something more to the synthesis because even small change will break the functionality.
I'm not exactly sure whether this LVDS series will continue, but I have also other electronic videos on my channel.
Suggestions, feedback and subscribing helps. Thanks.
